At this stage we have the back braces sanded 100%, now were test fitting the headrest. Notice how far back the rocking chair back braces can move freely, this is accomplished buy the shape of the holes in the seat, which is a ellipse with flat sides allowing front and back stress free movement. The holes in the headrest also have a special design feature. There double drilled with an angle towards the front, you can't tell from the out side. Now when some one has a seat in their custom wooden rocking chair the top and bottom of the back braces have stress free movement.
