This is the front leg Maloof joint, because of the way this joint is designed it is not only beautiful it's very very strong. Our joint is made in the same fashion as Sam Maloof originally designed it but instead of having a 1/4'' notch and 1/4'' rabbit we use a 1/2'' notch and 1/2'' rabbit. By making the joint like this we are doubling the glue surface.
