Custom wooden rocking chair step #4
This double wooden rocking chair seat now has the Maloof joints cut, the back brace holes have been routed out. There is still lots more work to do, we have to cut out the front profile and than carve out the seat. We carve out the seat by using various tools, first a angle grinder with a Kutzall disc, we then use a festool RO 150 which is a 6'' disc sander. We go from 80 grit all the way to 500 then we will burnish the seat with a wool pad just before finishing.
