This sculpted pedestal table was built from solid Walnut. The top is 1'' soild walnut which is easily removed from the base by removing some hardware under the top. The hardware is mounted to the top using elongated holes allowing for wood movement throughout the year.
The legs and table support have been sculpted into the center 3''x3'' post using tung and grove joinery to improve strength, then hand sculpted to create a unique and very organic table base.
