Low back chair print review

With the lack of dimensions it's a good thing that I have access to a large format plotter. I can't imagine printing the template on 8.5 x 11 paper and then taping the sheet together. I'm also a draftsman accustomed to translating sketches and written descriptions into a working drawing for others to use.

Dining chair #9, & Low back chair

I bought digital templates for both #9 and low back chair, and progressing on #9.
The information provided is enough to make a bold start, the first challenge being getting the scaling right on your computer, mine was to resize in MS Paint by 47%. Printing off 32 pages, gluing to 6 mm MDF, then cutting to create the working template.
I found a You Tube video by Canadian Woodworks on making the #9 chair and this helped fill in the gaps of knowledge.
What isnt clear in the information is the total quantity of timber required, "X board feet" would help.
Once you get the wood marked out and milled it all goes quite well. The details list and watching the video several times gives a little confidence

The digital plans are great if you have some knowledge on what you are doing. There are several must have tools to make the chairs take the time to check on the tool lists etc.
I am happy with my purchase and project progress, I could see buying buy more templates in the future.

Documentation I was looking for

Templates look good. Printed them out. Still need to past together and transfer to plywood. Looking forward to building a prototype. Need to finish Dining Chair #8 first, then I'll decide which I like best and build a full set of four. Thaks for all your help.

LBC, copying the copy

Love the detail, thorough clear instructions. The only minor issue is what to do to copy from page to product (if something tears/rips etc). It’s really a 4.8 star kinda review. I ordered my own 24” roll so I can copy a copy just in case. My son and I are going to start next week. The walnut is rough cut and finding it’s way to acclimatizing to the shop right now.
